1.  Use at least 2-3 pumps of Hydro Cleansing Oil  

First, pump at least 2-3 pumps of Hydro Cleansing Oil into the palm of your hand. Gently rub your palms together to disperse the oil. You need sufficient oil for the cleansing properties to work. If you try to save by using a small drop of oil then you may find that the layer of oil is too thin to clean the skin properly.

 

2.   Massage the Hydro Cleansing Oil into the skin 

Next, moisten your palms with warm water from the faucet and begin to gently massage the oil into the skin with the tips of the fingers in gentle small circles for at least 1-2 minutes. Focus on the nose, chin and other clogged prone areas.

For eye makeup removal, use our Gentle Hydro Cleansing Oil which is 100% fragrance & essential oil free and formulated for the delicate eye area. Gently massage the oil with added water in the eye region. Massaging the cleansing oil with water into the skin is essential. The cleansing oil can be used under steam for the cleansing massage step.

 

3.   Emulsifying The Cleansing Oil    

As you begin to massage the skin with the oil and warm water, this step begins the process of emulsifying the cleansing oil. You will find the oil dissolving under your fingers and turning a light, faint milky white. This is what begins the cleansing process. After a few seconds, wet your hands again with a little more warm water and massage again. Repeat until all the oil is emulsified (turned a light, faint milky white); then rinse until clean by using a facial sponge. Repeat this process until all oil has been rinsed with a facial sponge. If wearing a lot of makeup, repeat the cleansing process again.

 

4. Double Cleanse Method 

Step 1: Apply 3-4 pumps of one of our Hydro Cleansing Oil's to dry skin and massage (do not moisten the skin beforehand).

Step 2: Then smooth 2 pumps of one of our Facial Cleansing Gel's on top of it and massage into skin. Using moistened fingers, massage into the skin until a milky emulsion forms. Rinse off thoroughly with plenty of cool water.
