Peel Protocols are instructions or steps that are provided to the user on how to apply a particular chemical peel(s).  Protocols are meant to give the user application steps. Peel Protocols are not meant to educate someone about a chemical peel and do not replace chemical peel training. For example, there are individuals who read peel protocols but do not know how to adjust the application or sequence of that acid peel for a particular skin type or condition. That is where chemical peel training comes in.

What does Cooking School have to do with it?

Think of a cook at home versus someone who has been to culinary school.  Take a recipe for example; one reads the items they need, how much of each ingredient, and the steps to make that recipe.  Even though one follows all of the steps, the recipe can turn out not so good or even fail.

But take a person who went to culinary school or took a cooking class, they will have a better understanding of how that recipe comes together. They learn about the various nuances in making the recipe.

Chemical Peel Training involves the study of the skin, the science and chemistry of each chemical acid, effects of each chemical acid on the skin, techniques, contraindications, complications, and much more. Chemical peel training gives you the knowledge to be able to understand, interpret, and apply chemical peel protocols.

Chemical Peel Training teaches you an extremely important skill;  Critical Thinking.

If one has had quality chemical peel training, one can take that knowledge and apply it to any peel product and peel protocol.
