Mandelic Acid Toner

Mandelic Acid Toner can be used daily or every other day for gentle exfoliation for problematic, oily, acne prone skin.

Mandelic acid, referred to as the 'German mandel - almond", is a larger molecule than glycolic acid molecule therefore can be more easily tolerated on the skin types that cannot tolerate glycolic acid. Mandelic acid, as opposed to glycolic acid or lactic acid, has antibacterial properties and is lipophilic "oil loving" making it the choice for oily, blemish prone skin. Mandelic acid is recommended to improve the appearance of "acne brown spots", referred to as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Did You Know

Mandelic Acid has a larger molecular mass (larger molecule) than glycolic and lactic, therefore it penetrates slower and provides minimal stinging therefore reduced irritation on the skin.

Suggested Protocols:

Use Mandelic Acid Toner in the AM & PM after cleansing the skin.
Recommended to be used prior to application of serums and moisturizers.

Mandelic Acid Toner Application: Start usage every other day. Moisten a cotton pad with a small amount of toner and wipe over face, neck and décolleté. Increase to daily or twice daily as skin becomes acclimated.
